Jeg lærte Léonce Bakenga at kende gennem 3PGC i august 2026. 
Léonce kom til Nakivale som 16-årig, da han i 2017 flygtede fra krigen i DR Congo sammen med sin mor, 3 søskende og sin onkel. 
I 2021 grundlage han Hope for Refugees Organisation (H.R.O.) sammen med 30 unge ledere fra Nakivale, hvor de blandt andet leder en skole og et center.

Meet Léonce, the children at the school, and other residents of Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Uganda

I got to know Léonce Bakenga through 3PGC in August 2026. 

Léonce came to Nakivale at the age of 16, when he fled the war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2017 together with his mother, three siblings, and his uncle. In 2021, he founded Hope for Refugees Organisation (H.R.O.) together with 30 young leaders from Nakivale. Among other things, they run a school and a community center.
